We take pride in our ability to install a wide variety of metal roofing, ranging from exposed fastener corrugated metal to hidden fastener standing seam. The majority of our installations involve standing seam roofs, which offer a range of colors, gauges, and profile options that can have a significant impact on pricing.
We use a portable roll-forming machine to manufacture metal roofing panels at your job site.
Our New Tech Machinery's Snap-Lock profile design features 1-inch high snap-lock style ribs spaced 16 inches apart. The panel has nail strip slots positioned at 5-3/4 inches, which are fastened with a 1-inch pancake screw at each slot and a bead of caulking at the rib 2 feet from the eaves.

We utilize self-adhered underlayment for our metal roof installations. Synthetic underlayments beneath metal panels can become brittle over time. All roof accessories, such as vents and pipe jacks, are repositioned to fit at the center of the panel. Our panels are hemmed at gable ends for a much cleaner look. We do not install any metal roofs over existing shingles. While it is possible, these types of installations are known to be problematic in the long run.
Standing seam roofing is undoubtedly far more cost-effective in the long run. Depending on the location and panel profile, standing seam roofs can outlast shingle roofs by three times their lifetime. Despite the 30-year warranties claimed by shingle manufacturers and the seemingly unrealistic 50-year workmanship warranties pitched by some contractors, a standard dimensional "30-year" shingle will only last about 10-14 years in Florida's weather. Moreover, due to the escalating cost of inflation, you will end up paying 50% or more for the same roof in 14 years. The cost per square increased by a substantial 55% from 2017 to 2024 in materials, labor, landfill, and even permitting to replace a roof. So, it's crucial to consider how much your next roof will cost in the near future and how much you will pay for repairs to extend the life of your shingle roof for a few more years. In summary, while the upfront cost of standing seam may be higher, in 30 years, you'll find yourself paying significantly less compared to a shingle roof with a decent life still left.
When choosing a contractor for your installation, price is a crucial factor. You want to ensure you get your money's worth for such a significant investment. A metal roof is only worth its investment if it will outlast a shingle roof. It's essential to select a contractor with hands-on experience in the roofing systems they offer, rather than a contractor who relies solely on their installer's knowledge. One that can guarantee you a solid installation with proven techniques on the most problematic roof curbs and details. In order to have a long lasting roof, preparation to the substrate is key. If your roof is sagging at the gables, has dips in the middle, visible addition tie-ins, or irregular designs, these issues will need to be corrected first. Our objective is not only to provide a system than will shed water effectively but will be pleasing to the eye as well. The right contractor for you is one that can inform you on these issues and has the solutions to address them in a cost effective manner.
We offer a 15 year labor warranty on all of our standing seam metal roof installations.
After you have accepted a roof estimate and chosen a color for your roof, we will email you a detailed contract to be signed and a Notice of Commencement (NOC) form to be notarized.
What is an NOC form?
The NOC form is an important document that registers Florida’s construction industry, serving as a legal notice that indicates the start of a construction project, improvements, or alterations to real property.
Once we receive all the paperwork, we will apply for a roof permit with your county and schedule a date to start work on your roof. On the day of commencement;
We only require a deposit for metal roof installation once the job starts. It's not recommended to pay a contractor a large deposit upfront before starting a project, as this can be a red flag. After your existing roof has been removed and dried in, we request a deposit of 40-60%, depending on the size of the project. Once the roof has been completed, we ask for 20% of the remaining balance, with the rest due after all roof inspections have been completed and the permit has been closed.
We have all the necessary state-required insurance coverages for general liability and workers' comp. We also possess a state-certified roofing contractor license and invest in better equipment to ensure a safer work environment.
Hiring an unlicensed roofer might seem like a tempting idea, but it's never a good one. Not only is it illegal, but if the roofer falls and gets injured, you'll be responsible for covering all of their medical expenses. Additionally, you'll end up paying for a roof that comes with no warranty. Any roof can look good from the ground. It may seem perfectly installed until it's put to the test with a storm. It will be unlikely for an unlicensed contractor to show up after water intrusion damages occur during a storm and honor their warranty, yet pay for the damages.
